Enjoy some of the most spectacular sights in the county and immerse yourself in Cornwall’s myths and legends while we take you on a journey of discovery to explore charming fishing harbours and hidden coves. Sit back, relax and chat with friends as our mini bus takes you to places inaccessible to larger coaches.

This holiday will take you to some of the best of West and South Cornwall off the beaten track, and you can experience places that most tourists do not see.

Day tour 1:  We visit the Norman church at Lelant, with beautiful views over Hayle sands, the start of the pilgrim’s route St Michael’s Way. We then visit the beaches adjacent to Godrevey Head for the splendid views across St Ives Bay. We have morning coffee at Hell’s Mouth, so named after the  boiling seas at the foot of the steep cliffs. We then  move on Marazion by the scenic route over the so-called ‘Alps’, the highest land in this part of Cornwall with panoramic views over Penzance Bay. On our way we view Bowl Rock and the village of Ludgan, connected with many myths and legends. At Marizion it is time for lunch and a visit to St Michael’s Mount. We complete our day with a drive around Penzance bay to the picturesque fishing village of Mousehole for afternoon tea.

Day tour 2:  We travel to the the Roseland peninsula and savour the beauty of the waterside and semi-tropical garden setting of St Just in Roseland Church. Writing of this his book In search of England  H V Orton says I have blundered into a Garden of Eden that cannot be described in pen or paint. We then move on to picturesque St Mawes on the estuary of the River Fal for lunch. In the afternoon we visit St Mawes Castle.

Day tour 3 : We take a circular tour around the Penwith Peninsula and experience the stunning rock formations between moors sea. We visit the quaint Celtic village of Zennor, and absorb the spectacular sight of Cape Cornwall. We take morning coffee at St Just. We then move on to Sennen Cove for lunch. After a brief stop at Lands End it’s time to visit the Minack Theatre and to marvel at the this unique creation on the cliff face. We return via the standing stones Merry Maidens and visit the rugged and legendary Lamorna Cove.

Day tour 4 :  This is our day out on the Lizard Peninsula. We visit the tiny fishing village of Cadgwith for morning coffee. We then see Lizard Point and Kynance Cove, before having lunch at the pretty harbour at Mullion Cove. In the afternoon we drive along the coast via Poldu Cove to spend some time at the former fishing village of Porthleven.

On another day there will be a heritage tour of St Ives and a visit to the iconic and recently refurbished Tate gallery.
